HFD responded to 2-alarm fire in Chinatown residential building

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu Fire Department officials responded to a two-alarm fire in a Chinatown residential building Tuesday afternoon, according to HFD officials.
Officials say the fire broke out around 2:30 p.m. on North Kukui Street.
The fire was upgraded to a two-alarm fire.
The fire was brought under control at 2:50 p.m. and fully extinguished at 3 p.m.
All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries reported.
An investigation has been launched to determine the fire’s origin and provide damage estimates.
